I am a mother of two beautiful boys and a proud military wife. Besides my family, my passions are photography and working with children. I have a degree in early childhood education and I am currently a student at the New York Institute of Photography. My studio is located in my Hoosick Falls home. It is equipped with professional gear, as well as a variety of backdrops and props. It offers a warm, inviting environment where everyone can feel at ease and their personality will shine.
I treat every photograph I take as a piece of art. I will do everything possible to make you look your best. I provide enhancements to brighten eyes, whiten teeth and soften skin.

THE PORTRAIT SESSION
We would first like to thank you for considering Mind's Eye Photography. You are important to us and we appreciate your business. Before your portrait session we will discuss what you are expecting to get out of your visit. What type of poses and props would you like? What color backgrounds? What type and color of clothing will your child be wearing? We will try to accomodate all of your requests. We do ask that you limit your background choices to three. We strive to capture your child's personality and make your portait session a memorable one. We feel that we are creating more than a photograph. We are creating an artistic rendition of your child. At times we may even ask parents to step out of the shooting area to allow us to work our magic with your child. Children sometimes relax more and forget they are here for a picture and this enables us to create some of our best work. We will make every effort to ensure that your photos are truly personalized.
MULTIPLE FAMILY/GROUP SITTINGS
We are unable to accomodate multiple family/group sittings. Our studio just isn't large enough. Children tend to be easily distracted in the presence of other children and large groups and it tends to be stressful for the parents as well. A nice alternative to a large group portrait is a family collage. We can combine individual families or individual children on an 8x10 or larger collage. This ensures the best possible photograph of each family or child.
TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL PORTRAIT SESSION
-Schedule your session during your child's upbeat time of day, after naps and meals, so he/she can enjoy the experience.
-Bring along neccessary items to keep your child happy and clean, including diapers, wipes, favorite toys and blankets.
-Bring along some personal props - costumes, hats, or toys that showcase your child's personality.
-When choosing your child's wardrobe, solid colors are best, no busy stripes and patterns. For family portraits, it's best to dress everyone in the same style, color or tone.
-Bring another outfit with you. Casual, formal or something to reflect your child's personality.
